FEAR OF MUSIC – TALKING HEADS

I read somewhere that his was the band’s transitional, apocalyptic 1979 album.  This was a band on the verge of leaving the New York scene and blowing up and this was their brilliant response…adding players, instruments and Byrne and Brian Eno collaborating like never before.  They created an album that brought all of 1979 together, the punk, the disco, the aggression….with our current end times, this might be the right record for now.
